The new 7.1-km-long road with two lanes in both directions will bypass Rogoźno from the north to connect with the DK11 in Gościejewo. The section under construction will include a bridge over the River Wełna, a viaduct over the Poznań-Piła railway line, two roundabouts allowing the investment to be incorporated into the current road system, intersections with commune roads, pedestrian and cycle paths. The contractor's tasks also include the construction of culverts over the Rudka and Struga Sokołowska rivers, a rainwater drainage system and the installation of lighting and traffic safety devices
Greater comfort for all
By taking transit traffic out of the centre of Rogoźno, noise and traffic jams, which are currently a problem for residents, will be reduced and safety will be improved. Motorists who now have to negotiate numerous intersections will also benefit. By bypassing the town, they will be able to reach their destination more efficiently and quickly. In addition, the course of the road will make it possible to preserve the natural assets and protected areas lying in the immediate vicinity of the village.
