The construction of LIXA’s first stage began in February 2019. Construction works were preceded by the dismantlement of Kredyt Bank’s former office building, which was situated at Yareal Polska’s intended location for its investment project. Over a period of 22 months, PORR S.A. built two buildings: one with 13 storeys offering a space of 22 000 square metres, and another one with 6 storeys providing a space of 6,000 square metres. The bigger one, standing at the corner of Karolkowa and Kasprzaka streets, has already been handed over to BNP Paribas bank. The second one will soon be occupied by tenants, among others by its investor and developer - Yareal Polska.
75,000 sqm in three stages
PORR S.A. is the general contractor of the LIXA’s third construction stage – an office and retail building called LIXA C covering a total space of more than 29,000 sqm (16 000 sqm of usable area for office purposes and over 1,000 sqm of retail space included). The office building will have 6 storeys above ground and two under ground. The contract provides for site development, the construction of an outdoor car park and necessary technical facilities. This stage of the investment project is planned to be completed by the end of 2021.
Ultimately, the LIXA complex is intended to offer 75,000 sqm of modern office as well as commercial and retail space. It is planned to finish the whole investment project in 2024.
LIXA project has been certified in the international BREEAM system which serves as proof for the application of solutions compliant with the concept of sustainable construction. Yareal’s office building investment project has scored an Excellent rating.
