At the end of September, the reinforced concrete structure of building ‘A’ belonging to the SKYSAWA complex was finished. Currently, the building’s façade is being set up and on the inside, masonry, insulation and installation works are being carried out. At the same time, the first overground storeys of the tower (building B) are being built as well as the underground passage, which will connect the building complex with the metro station ‘Rondo ONZ’.
"We have finished an important stage in the construction of SKYSAWA. Building A has already taken its final shape and soon the first elements of its elevation, which is right now being installed on the side facing Twarda Street, will be visible. We are pleased by the fast progress of works. Week by week changes can be observed in the representive section of Świętokrzyska Street", said Tomasz Górnicki, vice-president in charge of investment projects of Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
"SKYSAWA is one of Warsaw’s fastest implemented office building investments. All of building A’s overground storeys were built in just 9 weeks. The construction of SKYSAWA’s tower will require a shorter, four-day cycle, owing to the self-climbing system applied to the building core", said Dariusz Wietrzyński, Board Member of PORR S.A., the general contractor of SKYSAWA’s tower.
About the investment project
SKYSAWA is a state-of-the-art office and commercial building offering a space of ca. 34,200 sqm. Its key advantage is a perfect location – the very centre of the capital, a block surrounded by the streets: Świętokrzyska, Twarda, Mariańska and Jana Pawła II, just next to the ONZ Roundabout. SKYSAWA is one of only a few investments in Warsaw directly connected to a metro station.
The contract for the construction of the SKYSAWA tower was signed by PHN and PORR in June 2019. The investment will be realized within 36 months. It is planned to complete building A with a space of ca. 9,800 sqm in the third quarter of 2021, and building B – the 155-metre and 40-storey tall tower – in the third quarter of 2022.
