The project for ORLEN will be carried out by a consortium of PORR, as the leader, together with PONER sp. z o.o. The task is of great importance for the Polish aviation industry as the majority of planes taking off from domestic airports use ORLEN-produced fuel. The most popular fuel for civil aircraft is JET A1, which is produced from components obtained through a complex technological process, with hydrotreater and fuel fraction as the main elements.
The material scope of our work includes the construction of
- four storage tanks Z-7A, B, C, D for JET A1 components (hydrotreater) or fuel with piping ensuring universal use of the tanks,
- automatic tank drainage systems,
- JET A1/hydrotreater stripping system,
- process pumping station,
- an additive dosing unit.
The task will be completed over two years. As per the agreement, the final technical acceptance of the entire scope of the Contract, together with obtaining an occupancy permit, will be completed by 20.11.2025. The guarantee for the equipment will be 24 months while that for documentation, work and other supplies will be 36 months. The total value of the contract is PLN 107.5 million.
