Under the agreement signed in mid-December 2023, PORR will carry out two tasks. As a first step, it will build a new passenger stop Izabelów, on railway line 14. It will consist of two 150m-long single-edge platforms, together with the preparation of a 50m reserve for the future expansion of the stop. Railway-stop shelters, information boards and lighting will be provided on the platforms. Pedestrians will be able to access the platform via a walkway and stairs. In addition, to facilitate access to the platform for people with disabilities, two passenger lifts will be built as part of the second task.
The project has been divided into five phases with the following milestones:
- design concept: 40 days from the contract signing date;
- development of multi-discipline design documentation: 280 days from the contract signing date, including obtaining all required permits and agreements;
- construction work (platform no. 1 - phase I) - 370 days from the contract signing date;
- construction work (platform no. 2 - phase II) - 460 days from the contract signing date;
- final acceptance and completion of the construction work with the handover of the as-built documentation and use permit to the Client: 501 days from the contract signing date.
