The bridge structure to be built by PORR will be constructed in the course of road No. 933, approximately 350 m from the bridge over the Vistula riverbed proper. Its structure will be made of prefabricated prestressed concrete beams connected by a reinforced concrete slab. The new bridge will have a single carriageway with two lanes, one for each direction of travel, with girts on both sides and a pavement. The load capacity of the structure will be adapted to accommodate loads generated by special and military vehicles. The short access sections to the bridge in the course of DW No. 933 will also be rebuilt. The scope of work also includes the construction of a rainwater drainage system and a technological canal, as well as the reconstruction of networks.
As part of the task, the necessary accompanying infrastructure will also be built, including the construction of a technological duct and a rainwater drainage system. There will also be a new access to the bridge, for which an approx. 200-metre section of voivodeship road No. 933 will be reconstructed. In order to enable drivers to cross the river, a temporary crossing will be made available for the duration of the construction works.
