Under the signed contract, a consortium composed of PORR and PONER will build two diesel storage tanks with a capacity of 32,000 cubic meters each. The facilities will be steel with a cylindrical shape, vertical axis with a fixed roof. PORR's scope of work will include foundation works, construction of roads, networks, electrical, Control and Measurement Instruments and Automation, teletechnology, pipelines, supply of steel sheets for bottoms and shells of tanks, anti-corrosion works. PONER will be responsible for installing the tanks and supplying materials for the roof of the facilities.
Next stage of expansion of fuel depots
The contract signed by the PORR and PONER consortium is part of PERN's larger investment plan. It will include the construction of 8 fuel tanks in four locations - Boronów, Rejowiec, Nowa Wieś Wielka and Dębogórze. Thanks to the investment, PERN will provide another 256,000 cubic meters of capacity for storing Class III petroleum products, along with associated infrastructure.
