PORR will rebuild two sections of DK91

Warsaw, July 25, 2023 – The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has chosen PORR S.A. for the contractor for the reconstruction of two sections of the national road No. 91 with a total length of 9 kilometers. In the northern part of DK91, the section Częstochowa - Nowa Wieś, approx. 4.6 km long, will be reconstructed, and in the middle section, the section Siedlec Duzy - Koziegłowy, approx. 4.4 km long. Both tasks with a total value of PLN 176 million will be completed by the end of November 2024.

Siedlec Duży – Koziegłowy

The beginning of the section is located over 100 meters after Leśna Street in Siedlce Duzy and its end about 600 m before the intersection with Lipowa Street in Koziegłowy. The investment includes adapting the road structure to a load capacity of 11.5 t/axle, reconstruction of three intersections, reconstruction and construction of traffic lights, construction and reconstruction of pedestrian routes over a length of almost 400 m, construction and reconstruction of exits, construction of road lighting over a length of over 4 km, horizontal and vertical markings and equipping the national road with road safety devices, including: energy-intensive barriers, fencing for pedestrians, construction of environmental protection devices (noise screens over 800 m long and a BBTM silent surface), reconstruction of road culverts, construction of a service channel.

Częstochowa – Nowa Wieś

The beginning of the section is located on the border of the Częstochowa poviat and the Poczesna commune and its end is located around the petrol station in Nowa Wieś. The investment includes adapting the road structure to a load capacity of 11.5 t/axle, reconstruction of twelve intersections, reconstruction and construction of traffic lights, construction and reconstruction of pedestrian routes with a length of almost 700 m, construction and reconstruction of exits, construction of road lighting over a length of about 1.5 km , execution of horizontal and vertical markings and equipping the national road with road safety devices, including: energy-intensive barriers, fencing for pedestrians, construction of environmental protection devices (acoustic screens over a length of about 2.5 km and a BBTM silent surface), reconstruction of road culverts, construction of a service channel.
